By swiping right on the home screen or by clicking the home button once (while you are on the home screen), iOS activates Spotlight search. When you type in something and scroll to the bottom you will notice two additional search options have been added – “Search web” and “Search Wikipedia”. When you click on either one, your search results are displayed in Safari.

1. Step 1: You can use Itunes to trim the song that you would want to use as ringtone. Right click on the song that you want to use as ringtone-> select “Get Info” -> “Options” -> and then use the “Start Time” and “End Time” to set the length of your ringtone. Click Ok to trim your song. (Don’t worry your original song would remain intact). Note: The length of the ringtone should be less than 30 Sec.

2. Step 2: Now Right Click on the song you have just trimmed and select “Create AAC Version”. You will find AAC Version of the song in your itunes once the process is complete.
3. Step 3: Ensure that you modify the Original song’s “Start Time” and “End Time” back to its Original Properties (Remember you modified it in the Step 1).
4. Browse through MY MUSIC (Usual Directory where your Itunes music is stored in Windows) directory and find the trimmed song or you can just drag the trimmed ringtone from your itunes to your desktop.
5. Rename the file extension from “m4a” to “m4r”
6. Add the “m4r” back into your itunes. Itunes will automatically add it as a ringtone.
7. Sync it to your Iphone.
Follow the above steps to create as many ringtones as you want.
Tired of typing your user credentials on your iPhone Safari browser? You can configure safari browser on your iPhone to remember the “Usernames” and “Passwords” simply by enabling the “Names & Passwords” option.

To enable this option go to Setting -> Safari -> AutoFill -> Names & Passwords
On enabling this, whenever you type in new login credentials on a site, Safari browser would ask your permission to save the login credentials so that you can readily login the next time you want to browse the same site.

Do you want to quickly access the iPod controls on your iPhone or iPod Touch to pause the song/podcast? Its easy.
Just double click the Home button and a window pops up allowing you to Pause, skip tracks, and adjust volume.
This works only when a track is playing. If this still doesn’t work for you make sure you’ve selected ‘iPod’ by going to Settings > General > Home Button.

If your iPhone is totally unresponsive and force quitting an app did not help, try this.
Force a reset of your iPhone by pressing both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least ten seconds. Your iPhone would take a while to boot up. However, your data and settings should remain intact.
